Watts are a measurement of electrical power, equivalent to one joule (unit of work) per second. Besides EV charging speeds, (see our previous ABC post on kWh), watts are often used to measure battery capacity and energy density in the form of watt-hours per kg or per litre. In short, watt-hours will indicate how far your EV can go & how fast it can charge.
